Requires systemd and kernel 5.6 or newer. Installation verified on Ubuntu 24.04, Debian 13 and Fedora 43.
After installing, add your user to the group and sign in:
sudo usermod -aG fortisafe YOUR_USER

TV
On the TV, with the app
The Android TV app is the same as the phone one: on a TV, Google Play delivers the version built for the remote control. It needs Android 7.0 or newer. Each TV counts as one device on your plan.

- TVs with Google TV or Android TV — Sony, TCL, Philips and other brands: search for FortiSafe VPN in the TV's own Play Store.
- Android TV boxes and sticks — The ones that come with Google's Play Store, including those from TV providers.
- Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer — They are Google TV inside: install from the Play Store.
Through the router
- Samsung and LG TVs — Their system takes no VPN app, from any company.
- Older cast-only Chromecast — It installs no apps.
- TV boxes without Google's Play Store — Not supported: installed some other way, the app may open as if it were a phone.
The list follows what Google Play delivers to each device. We checked it on the Fire TV Stick and on Google's own test Google TV, not on every model.
Router
On the router, it covers the whole house
Whatever can't run an app — Samsung or LG TV, game console, smart speaker — gets the Brazilian IP through your router. In your account, under "Use it on a router", you add the router and download the configuration file; then you import it in the router's VPN section (WireGuard). The guide shows where it is on each brand. Each router counts as one device on your plan.
