Summary
- In the FortiSafe Antivirus app: Settings › Account › Delete account.
- Without the app at hand: write to [email protected] from the account's email address.
- Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription bought on Google Play: cancel it in the Play Store too.
1. In the app
Open FortiSafe Antivirus, go to Settings › Account and choose Delete account. The deletion happens right away, without talking to anyone.
If you use the app without an account, there is no account to delete: the app's data stays only on the device and is erased when you uninstall the app.
2. By email
Write to [email protected] from the account's email address, asking for the deletion. We answer within 15 days. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request with a code sent to that address.
3. What we delete
- your email address and the account record;
- the devices on which you turned protection on, and the record of each device being added and removed;
- open sessions and sign-in codes.
The FortiSafe account is the same one used by FortiSafe VPN. Deleting the account also ends access to the VPN, if you use the VPN with this account, and disconnects its devices.
4. What the law requires us to keep
Two records remain after the deletion, each for the period the law requires:

None of this includes your files, their names or the list of your apps: these never leave your device, before or after the deletion.
